PVC Pipe Support
The PVC pipe is 1 3/4″ diameter pipe four feet long. That pipe was put over the support pole. When the painter pole is inserted into the PVC pipe, the PVC would provide about a foot and a half of stabilization. Since the painter pole would stand on top of the support dowel, that made the top of the painter pole just over eighteen feet in the air.
